I was invited to be one of six TV contributors, creating a four part docuseries on how it might be for modern days designers to live and work as they did during the height of the Arts and crafts Movement. In this landmark living history series, a late 1800s Victorian arts and crafts mansion in the Welsh hills was home to our creative commune. Hosted by Anita Rani and internationally renowned potter Keith Brymer Jones, we used original Victorian tools and techniques, to create arts and crafts objects including a Sussex chair, CR Ashbee bowl and William Morris-inspired wallpaper - all from scratch and all in a week. An exercise in true understanding of the values of the Arts and Crafts movement, both as a power for artistic and social change.
